Funny tasting water
Hi is anyone experiencing funny tasting water in Sydenham/ Forest Hill area after the burst water pipe few weeks ago?.. I thought it was me but tastes horrible.

Yes, I've noticed it too. Mine has a bit of a chlorine/metallic taste since the burst, though it's not undrinkable. After a big burst and the mains being flushed and repressurised, a lot of stuff gets stirred up in the pipes, and that can affect taste and smell for a few weeks.
Try running the cold tap for a few minutes to flush your own pipes, and keep a jug in the fridge because chilling helps with the chlorine taste. It's worth reporting it to Thames Water too, as they can send someone to test your supply if it's not improving. The more people in the area who report it, the more likely they are to look into it properly.
